Traditional Fulani-style braids with cornrows in the front transitioning into small
box braids in the back. As shown in the photo, this style features straight ends for a polished finish. Standard braiding hair is included with this service. If you have a sensitive scalp, you can add an ACV wash to your appointment.
Customize your finish with three end options: straight (as shown in photo), wavy for soft
texture and movement, or curly ends created with flexi rods for defined, bouncy curls.
A classic protective style that blends cultural tradition with modern versatility.

Jolieden’s Beauty Bar takes pride in providing one of the best customer service experiences compared to other hair braiding shops. As clients, help us create the most comfortable experience for us all. The rules go as follows:
Please come with your hair washed, dried, and completely free of product.
You can request for a basic wash and blow by adding it to your service. If you come with any product in your hair we will wash and blow your hair for you at an additional charge. For this service make sure your hair is free of any glue, gels and detangled.
We style from the age 10 years of age and up.
We don not style small children.
For wash and blow services, we provide shampoo and conditioner.
If there is a specific brand that you use, you are more than welcome to bring it with you.
Hair must be at least 3 inches long for most hairstyles.
If you are unsure if you qualify for a style, send email clientcare@joliedensbeautybar.com for us to verify.
If you are tender-headed, please let your stylist know.
Your comfort is important to us and we understand each individual’s tolerance varies.
If you are allergic to any products or ingredients within products, please let us know!
Some people develop an itchy scalp from braiding hair, if you fit in this category, we do ACV washes at an additional charge.
This must be requested at least 48 hours before so that the hair can dry thoroughly before your appointment. Once your hair has been washed it can not be changed same day.
Please let us know if you have bad experiences with hair products or synthetic braiding hair itself and/or what your hair can not handle. We are not responsible for any damages.
Appointment Starts when you walk thru the door not when you are seated in styling chair.
Separating hair can take an hour to an hour and half. This is factored into your appointment time. Please be patient with us as we prep hair for YOUR appointment. Plan accordingly.
Standard Braiding hair is included in our braiding services.
WE DO NOT PROVIDE ANY TEXTURED HAIR! (NO BOHEMIAN CURLS, KINKY HAIR, CROCHET HAIR ETC.)
We do not do all human hair braids.
We only use human hair for loose boho pieces but we do not braid down with human hair. If you have a sensitive scalp you can op for an ACV wash for the braiding hair or let managers know if you are allergic to jam.
We do not provide weaves with any of the weave services.
Bring your own bundles
Please arrive on time.
After 30 minutes, your appointment will automatically be canceled.
No Call - No Shows will result in being BLOCKED from our system.
Our time means a lot to us; we prep our days around our appointment times.
Once you leave the salon you are responsible for caring for your hair.
After you leave the salon we give you 24 hours to let us know if you’re experiencing any problems with your hair and we would be more than happy to fix it. After this time frame you are not entitled for any refund or touch ups. We do our part and we also encourage our clients to do their part by caring for their hair. Avoid wetting and tugging on the hair. Please be advised that French Curl styles are prone to loosening compared to standard braiding hair styles because of its texture so be delicate with the style. Bohemian styles are also prone to shedding and tangling and the quality of the hair will determine the overall experience and longevity of the style.
Our number one goal is for our clients to be satisfied.
In a rare case that you are not satisfied, we are willing to take out the style and there will be no charge to you. ONCE YOU LEAVE THE SALON YOU ARE NOT ENTITLED TO ANY REFUND! NO EXCEPTIONS!
Jolieden’s Beauty Bar have the right to decline services to anyone.
We ask that both stylists and clients come in with positive energy to make the experience enjoyable for everyone. Once we feel discomfort or any form of bullying towards the stylist, you will be asked to leave and blocked from our system.
